Job summary

Marie Curie is recruiting a Wellbeing & Support Healthcare Assistant for Cardiff and the Vale Hospice. This part-time role (15 hours/week) involves administrative and coordination duties to ensure wellbeing activities, clinics and workshops run smoothly, while providing compassionate end-of-life care.

You will work within the WaSH team, supporting patients, carers and the wider clinical team. NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, and strong IT skills are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it, plus Level 2 numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Act as key point of contact for patients, carers, volunteers and staff.
• Manage appointments, activities, workshops and clinics.
• Maintain accurate records and input patient information into electronic systems.
• Support data collection, reporting and basic analysis for the service.
• Coordinate care with nursing and allied health teams.
• Coordinate schedules for volunteers and activities.
• Help maintain a welcoming, organised environment.
