Job summary

Vets Now in Peterborough is seeking a Part Time Veterinary Nurse to join our emergency team. You will contribute to triage, surgery, anaesthesia and in-patient care, delivering high standards of patient support and client communication.

RCVS registration and a genuine passion for emergency pet care are essential; ECC experience is advantageous. We offer a comprehensive CPD package, private medical insurance and a generous annual leave benefit.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics – confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.
