Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Emergency Practitioner for a permanent, part-time role (22.5 hours/week). The post is based in our Practitioner Led Unit, focusing on autonomous clinical decision-making and patient-centred care.

You will provide advanced, evidence-based health care, prioritise patients by need, and work in partnership with the wider urgent care team. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a supportive trust environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIU/ED settings delivering urgent care.
• Ability to perform advanced clinical assessment and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, skilled, evidence-based health care.
• Prioritise patients using triage and clinical judgment.
• Utilise advanced x-ray request/interpretation for fractures.
• Discharge safely, considering social factors and health promotion.
