Luck Lane, A Share Primary Academy in Huddersfield is seeking two outstanding Educational Teaching Assistants. You will support teachers in delivering the curriculum for primary pupils, with a focus on inclusivity and safeguarding. The role includes one-to-one and group support, along with before/after school enrichment activities.

Hours are 32.5 per week, 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time plus one week. DBS clearance is required and visits to the school are welcomed.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
• Experience working with primary-aged children.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional learning needs.
• Ability to engage and influence others and foster positive relationships with parents/carers.

Responsabilités

• Assist the teacher in delivering the curriculum and managing learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one support or small-group interventions for targeted pupils.
• Lead and supervise enrichment activities before and after school.
• Support with supervising pupils during lunchtimes and other non-class times.
• Monitor pupil progress towards SEN targets and report findings to the teacher.
• Contribute to lesson planning and differentiation of learning materials.
• Promote inclusive practice and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed.
