Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Premises Officer to join our FM segment, based at Tudor Grange Academy in Redditch. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day between 7.00am and 8.00pm. The hourly rate is £13.50, with 40 weeks per year.

The role involves multi-skilled maintenance, PPM and reactive tasks, and providing support to school users while adhering to health and safety policies. Experience in education settings would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in working to a high level in one or more specific trade disciplines.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full Driving licence.
• Experience in educational or institutional settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to daily requests/enquiries from authority representatives and users.
• Carry out proactive and flexible site maintenance and porterage duties.
• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through fast response and completion.
• Develop and manage ongoing and routine maintenance programs.
• Provide details to enable purchasing of spares and consumables via the helpdesk.
• Safely store spare parts, materials, tools and consumables.
