Job summary

Wellington Riding is seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Education Coach to support the delivery of high-quality equestrian education and training. You will work within the Education Team to plan and coach ridden and stable management sessions for local school groups and deliver BHS Challenge Awards.

Candidate must hold BHS Stage 3 Complete and have a passion for developing riders and learners. Right to Work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold BHS Stage 3 Complete.
• First Aid training helpful but not essential.
• Safeguarding certificate helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Education Team delivering BHS training sessions.

Job description

Wellington Riding are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Part-Time Education Coach to join our team, supporting the delivery of high-quality equestrian education and training. The successful candidate must hold BHS Stage 3 Complete and have a passion for developing the knowledge, skills and confidence of riders and learners.

Working as part of our Education Team, the role will include supporting the delivery of BHS training sessions, planning and coaching educational ridden and stable management sessions for local school groups, and delivering BHS Challenge Awards. You will be organised, approachable and enthusiastic, with a strong team ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To support the Education Team delivering BHS Training sessions
• Coaching, Planning Educational Ridden and Stable Management sessions to local school
  groups
• Promote Wellington Riding as a centre of excellence
• Strong customer service focus and proven experience
• Planning and delivery of high-quality group and private lessons
• Ability to teach both children and adults and establish a regular client base
• To support safe working practices and observe Employer’s Health & Safety policy

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS NEEDED

• Qualification: Must hold BHS Stage 3 Complete
• First Aid - preferable but not essential as training can be given
• Safeguarding Certificate – preferable but not essential as training can be given
• Time management and planning of your day and working with other staff members
• Enhanced DBS certification or the willingness to obtain certification is essential

• Hours of work: Part-time hours including 1 weekend day
• Entitled to holiday leave (Holiday year 1st January to 31st December)
