Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for flexible sessional work across primary care and regional care centre services in Etchingham. ACPs will undertake autonomous assessments, manage a range of clinical presentations and support streamlined patient flow across local health services.

You will work within structured clinical environments that provide clear pathways, ensuring consistent support for advanced-level practice and governance.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or community health.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ACP-led clinics across care centre and GP service settings.
• Assess acute, undifferentiated and routine presentations.
• Provide telephone and on-site triage during high-demand periods.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where qualified.
• Complete routine clinical actions including results, reviews and referrals.
• Document accurately in digital clinical systems.
