Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner to join a nursery in London on a part-time, term-time basis. You will support learning, development and wellbeing in a caring environment and work with a supportive team to provide high-quality experiences for young children.

Working pattern is 9:00am–1:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. Prior qualification and a passion for safeguarding children are essential.

Qualifications

Level 2 or 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
Caring, patient and enthusiastic about working with young children.
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
Able to communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, responsive and attentive care to children.
Support children’s learning and development through play and planned activities.
Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
Observe and support children’s progress and development.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities.
Encourage children’s independence, confidence and social development.
Work effectively as part of the nursery team.
