Renfrewshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Early Learning and Childcare Officer to help provide a safe, caring nursery environment and to deliver an inclusive curriculum in line with national guidance.

You must have early learning experience, knowledge of child development, and be able to plan and assess progress. Qualifications such as HNC Childhood Practice or SVQ Children and Young People, with SSSC registration, are required.

Qualificações

• Experience working or training in an early learning and childcare setting.
• Awareness of assessment and documentation of children’s learning per guidance.
• Ability to plan and deliver a relevant and inclusive curriculum.
• Knowledge of child development and flexibility to meet service needs.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to a safe, caring and stimulating nursery environment.
• Contribute and implement a relevant curriculum in line with national/local guidance.
• Plan, record, implement and evaluate suitable programmes of activities.
• Maintain and record children’s assessment progress and promote parental participation.
