Lunchtime Early Learning Support Worker (Supply) – Flexible Shifts

Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is recruiting Early Learning Support Workers for our general supply pool across early learning and childcare establishments. Shifts are usually between 11am-2pm, with longer hours possible to meet service requirements.

This temporary supply role pays based on actual hours worked; applicants with relevant experience and who are working toward SCQF Level 6 or related qualifications are encouraged to apply, including those pursuing SVQ/NC pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and/or young people and willingness to pursue a qualification within 3 years.
• SSSC registration within 6 months of appointment, if not already registered.
• Disclosure Scotland check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Early Learning and Childcare Officers to deliver high-quality provision.
• Create a nurturing and homely lunchtime environment for children.
• Work across the general supply pool across Renfrewshire's establishments.
