Job summary

Head First is seeking a Part-Time Female Support Worker to provide compassionate, patient care to a client living at home in Forest Row. The role requires a full UK driving licence, own car, and willingness to travel for community activities.

Shifts are rota-based across weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with some bank holidays and school holidays included. Benefits include a full induction, MDT support, regular supervision, and DBS paid for by the employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a support/care role.
• Full UK driving licence, access to own car, and business-use insurance.
• A calm, compassionate, and patient approach.
• Ability to support someone with high levels of anxiety.
• Good communication skills and a sense of humour.
• Flexibility to work a varied, pre agreed shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Day to day living and food preparation.
• Using iPhones and Apple technology (apps, accessibility features).
• Organising appointments and routines.
• Community access and social activities (driving required).
• Emotional reassurance and anxiety management.
• Encouraging independence at the client's pace.
