Charity Link is seeking a Part-Time Door-to-Door Fundraiser in Guildford to represent Dogs Trust, visiting households and sharing stories to secure regular monthly support. You will work three to four days per week, with a target-driven environment and full training.
You'll meet people, explain the Dogs Trust vision, and record donor details on a tablet while traveling across local postcodes. This role offers a meaningful cause, flexible hours, and opportunities for progression.
At Charity Link, we deliver sales & fundraising campaigns for some of the UK's most respected charities. In this role, you will be working exclusively with Dogs Trust, representing the charity directly to the public as a permanent member of our sales team.
This is door-to-door fundraising. You will visit households in your assigned area, meet people face-to-face, share the stories behind the cause & inspire them to give regular monthly support. Your goal will be to meet & exceed weekly sales targets.
Every day, you will meet new people & engage with them regarding the Dogs Trust vision, giving them reasons to care & support the cause. Dogs Trust cares for thousands of dogs, promotes responsible dog ownership & campaigns globally to improve dog welfare. When you explain that to a resident & they decide to be part of it, that's the moment this job is all about.
Although this is a sales role, you are selling the work of a fantastic, UK Charity & so a caring & considered approach is best. However, we are still target-driven, so you will need resilience, confidence & great communication skills. You will work independently but you will have sales coaching & support behind you every step of the way.
Working three or four days a week gives you the time to recharge, & it still lets you do work that matters.
Fundraisers complete a structured 12-week training programme, beginning with a remote induction followed by continuous coaching from experienced sales managers & fundraising coaches. Full support is provided to help you succeed & build a long-term career in fundraising.
Part-time roles require three to four days per week. Typical hours are from 11 am to 7 pm but can be flexible.
Door-to-door fundraisers typically work near their homes, though travel across local & regional areas is required. Mileage is reimbursed for travel beyond 20 miles. All equipment, including uniform, tablet, & fundraising materials, is supplied.
For over 30 years, we've supported the UK's leading charities, & the people who work with us are at the heart of that. We value diversity, equity & inclusion, & we make sure every employee feels respected, empowered & supported to thrive.
This role offers variety, challenge & the chance to meet inspiring people every day, all while making a lasting difference for dogs across the UK.
