Job summary

The Care Bureau is looking for a Domiciliary Care Worker to support people in their own homes across Wellingborough, Kettering and Northampton. This part‑time role offers flexible hours within a caring, client‑facing environment.

No previous care experience is required; full training is provided, and you’ll help clients live independently with dignity, safety and companionship on varied visits.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient and reliable nature.
• Good communication skills in person and over the phone.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for visits.
• Willingness to learn - full training is provided.
• A DBS check will be required and paid for by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Help clients stay independent, safe and comfortable at home.
• Assist with washing, dressing, meals and light housework.
• Provide companionship and conversation during visits.
• Support medication routines and shopping or errands where needed.
• Build trusted relationships through flexible, client‑centred care.
