Job summary

The Care Bureau is seeking a part-time Domiciliary Care Worker to help people live independently in their own homes across the Northamptonshire area, including Wellingborough, Kettering and Northampton.

No previous care experience is required, as full training is provided and DBS checks are covered. You will earn competitive hourly rates with mileage pay and have the flexibility to fit visits around your life.

Qualifications

• Must have caring, patient, and reliable nature.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to learn; no prior care experience required.
• DBS check is required; cost covered.
• Training is provided on the job.

Responsibilities

• Help someone get washed, dressed and ready to start their day.
• Make a cup of tea or breakfast and spend time to chat.
• Shop for essentials or pick up prescriptions.
• Assist with medications as needed.
• Carry out light housework, laundry or bed-making.
• Provide companionship and a friendly presence.
