Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a part-time Domestic Assistant (Band 2) at Eccles. The role involves cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff, with a 5/7 rota including early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

Training will be provided; no prior experience is essential. The post offers a pro-rata salary of £25,272 per annum, plus enhanced pay rates for evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Able to work as part of a team or independently.
• Able to work shifts including early/late, weekends and bank holidays.
• Awareness of colour coding in cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• To assist colleagues in Domestic Services to provide a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff in line with NHS standards.
• Full training will be provided; prior experience is not essential.
