Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Part-time Domestic Assistant to work at Woodville Residential Home in Woodville, Derbyshire. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe environment, assisting with cleaning tasks, and supporting our care team to meet residents’ needs.

Experience is not essential as full training is provided. Shifts are set across a 7-day week, with DBS being fully funded, holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Vacuuming and cleaning floors.

• Assist the Hotel Services team with cleaning tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate written records and documentation.

The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 46 residents, living with a range of age-related health conditions and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. Additionally, some of our residents are living with Dementia. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities.

To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Though prior experience in a similar role is desirable, this is not essential as full training and induction is provided. Typically, our residents live with age related conditions, life-limiting health conditions and physical disabilities that require dignified support from our care team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s privacy.
