Job summary

Holroyd Howe is hiring a part-time Back of House assistant at Ashville College. The 21–24 hour term-time role runs Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 15:30, with an optional 08:00 start on Fridays for an extra 3 hours.

You will set up the Pre-School Dining Hall, assist in washing up, clearing trays, and maintaining back-of-house areas, with end-of-day kitchen cleaning. Benefits include free parking, uniform, safety shoes, lunch, and family access to Ashville’s Sports Centre.

Qualifications

• Must reside within easy access of the school.
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable references.
• Some knowledge of working within a catering environment is desirable
• Some knowledge of Food Safety/ Health & Safety is desirable

Responsibilities

• Lifting and carrying tables and chairs for setting up the Pre-School Dining Hall.
• Wash up, clear trays, and tidy back of house areas including the kitchen.
• Sweeping, mopping and putting clean equipment away.
