Job summary

Hamilton Specialist Referrals in High Wycombe is seeking a Referral Veterinary Surgeon in Diagnostic Imaging to deliver advanced imaging within a busy multidisciplinary hospital. The role is part-time (10 hours per week) with weekend on-call and one weekday evening on-call as part of a supportive team.

You'll collaborate with specialists across orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, internal medicine and imaging, using MRI, CT, ultrasound and digital radiography to aid diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications

• ECVDI Boarded Specialist or Board Eligible status or Advanced Practitioner level.
• Experience managing complex diagnostic imaging cases in a referral environment.
• Strong communication with referring vets, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to mentor and support colleagues and maintain governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for complex referral cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support case management and clinical decision making.
• Communicate effectively with referring veterinary surgeons and clients, providing clear diagnostic advice and recommendations.
• Contribute to clinical governance, teaching, mentoring and the continued development of the diagnostic imaging service.
