Inspiring Vet Care’s Hamilton Clinic in High Wycombe seeks an experienced Referral Clinician in Diagnostic Imaging. This part-time role (10 hours/week) includes on-call duties: 1 in 4 weekends and one weekday evening per week, within a busy referral hospital offering MRI, CT, ultrasound and more.

The candidate should be an ECVDI Boarded Specialist or Board Eligible with proven experience in complex imaging cases, strong communication, and mentoring abilities.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Referral Clinician in Diagnostic Imaging, you will deliver advanced imaging services within a busy multidisciplinary referral hospital, supporting the diagnosis and management of complex referral cases across multiple disciplines.

You’ll work closely with our RCVS Specialists in Surgery, Neurology and Internal Medicine and ACVS Diploma holders in Surgery and Neurology alongside our experienced Certificate Holders in Diagnostic Imaging to provide diagnostic support while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care. You’ll also contribute to clinical discussions, support colleagues through knowledge sharing, and play an active role in maintaining the high clinical standards that Hamilton Specialist Referrals is known for.

Working Pattern

• Part-time position – 10 hours per week (1 day per week)
• Participation in a 1 in 4 weekend on-call rota
• One weekday evening on-call commitment per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for complex referral cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support case management and clinical decision making
• Communicate effectively with referring veterinary surgeons and clients, providing clear diagnostic advice and recommendations
• Contribute to clinical governance, teaching, mentoring and the continued development of the diagnostic imaging service
