Job summary

Blaise Veterinary Referral Hospital in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join our specialist imaging team, delivering high-quality multi-modality diagnostics in a state-of-the-art referral hospital. You will work across CT, MRI, fluoroscopy and radiography, collaborating with clinicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care, with weekend rotation potential as the service grows.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration with a DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Experience in veterinary imaging is preferred but not essential.
• Membership of the Society of Radiographers is desirable.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, professionalism and ethics.
• Animal welfare focus with patient-centred approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging across CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and radiography.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with clinicians and nurses to optimise workflow and patient care.
• Maintain imaging equipment and suites to a high standard.
• Carry out routine quality assurance checks and ensure protocol compliance.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture within the imaging department.
