HOSPICE OF ST FRANCIS (BERKHAMSTED) LTD in Berkhamsted is seeking a friendly, energetic Deputy Shop Manager for the Returned to Glory furniture showroom.

Working with the Shop Manager, you’ll lead staff and volunteers, maximise sales, and uphold our high standards to create a welcoming customer experience. Profits fund the Hospice’s vital local work.

Part-time role: 30 hours across 4 days; DBS check required; report to the Shop Manager.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Shop Manager to lead and inspire our team of staff and volunteers, maximise sales, maintain our high standards and create a fantastic experience for every customer.
• You’ll bring energy, enthusiasm and commercial flair to the role — spotting opportunities, getting the best from donations and making sure the showroom is looking its absolute best.
• Most importantly, you’ll know that every sale has a purpose. The profits from our shops go directly towards supporting the vital work of the Hospice in our local community.
