Job summary

Sainsbury's Witney is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver on a permanent basis. You will deliver groceries to customers, driving a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, and ensure goods arrive safely and on time.

Shifts are part-time (22.5 hours/week) with a flexible schedule across Sundays, Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays; upholding safety and customer service standards. Applicants must be over 18, hold a valid UK driving licence, and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 with a full UK/EU driving licence held for at least 12 months and no more than 6 points.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg and to drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability including Sundays, Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays 14:00–23:00.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers on time and in good condition.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Communicate with customers regarding delays or changes to orders.
• Assist in-store tasks when not delivering.
• Follow planned routes and adapt to traffic and road conditions.
