Job summary

Henderson Group is hiring a Deli Team Member at our Newtownabbey store. This part-time role offers 16 hours per week with shifts Mon-Sun between 6:00am and 2:30pm, weekend flexibility essential.

Pay ranges from £11.90 to £13.25 per hour depending on age, with great benefits and opportunities for progression. The team provides breakfast, lunch and coffee, delivering first-class customer service while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail or foodservice experience required; training provided.
• We are seeking team members with personality, energy and a positive attitude who can make our customers smile.
• Shortlisted candidates may have criteria adjusted based on response.

Responsibilities

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Provide a first-class service to all of our customers.
• Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
• Keeping prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all counters - SPAR Bakery and deli remain fresh and appetizing for our customers.
• Undertake other duties as required for the role.
