Job summary

Co-op Group in Bishop's Stortford is seeking Customer Team Members to deliver friendly, helpful service in a busy local Co-op store. Roles may include working in post office, bakery, or assisting with online order pick/pack for home delivery.

The role requires flexible availability (including weekends) with 3pm–11pm shifts, full training provided, and eligibility to work aged 18+. Salary: £13.04 per hour, permanent part-time contract with 12 hours per week plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and helpful service to customers.
• Assist with stock, pricing, and shelf replenishment.
• Operate tills and support daily store operations.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organisation.
• Promote Co-op Membership and store services.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth running of the store.
