Job summary

Sainsbury’s Local Hindhead is looking for a Customer Assistant to join our team. This part-time role (14 hours per week) at our Grayshott Headley Road store offers a permanent contract with a pay rate of £13.23 per hour.

Availability includes Tue 15:00-22:00, Thu 14:00-22:00 and Sat 11:00-17:00, with shifts planned three weeks in advance. You will help customers, stock shelves, assist with orders, and use digital tools to improve the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Minimum age 18 due to hours and handling alcohol items.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first with friendly, helpful service.
• Assist across store areas: shelves, orders, tills, and product recommendations.
• Use digital tools to perform tasks and enhance customer experience.
• Help organise and move stock and keep shelves tidy and well-presented.
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to advise customers.
