Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a part-time Credit Controller in Bristol City Centre to support the finance team. The role is 2–3 days per week, offering a pro-rata salary of £32,000 per annum and a path from temporary to permanent.

You will manage customer ledgers, chase overdue payments, review aged debts, and prepare weekly/monthly reports using Opera and MS Office in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a credit control role.
• Experience with Opera accounting software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work 2–3 days per week (part-time).

Responsibilities

• Managing a ledger of customer accounts.
• Monitoring overdue invoices and reviewing due dates.
• Reviewing aged debt reports.
• Soft follow up calls to resolve outstanding payments.
• Setting up and maintaining customer accounts.
• Matching payments to invoices.
• Escalating accounts.
• Producing weekly and monthly reports.
