Rotherwood in Burnley is seeking a Part-Time Credit Controller to join a well-established business. The role offers 12–20 hours per week across a minimum of 3 days, with an office-based setting in Burnley.

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Credit Controller to join a well-established business based in Burnley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller or someone with a strong accounts background and previous credit control exposure, looking for flexible, part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contacting customers to chase outstanding invoices and overdue payments.


• Managing and monitoring customer accounts and aged debt.


• Making outbound calls and following up on outstanding balances.


• Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.


• Handling payment queries and resolving account discrepancies.


• Agreeing payment arrangements where necessary.


• Maintaining accurate records of customer contact and payment commitments.


• Providing general accounts and administrative support where required.

About You

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable.


• Confident and professional telephone manner.


• Comfortable making outbound calls and having conversations about outstanding payments.


• Good communication and relationship-building skills.


• Organised with good attention to detail.


• Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
