Job summary

Our client in Hoddesdon is seeking a part-time Legal Contracts Advisor to review, negotiate and manage client and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and supporting commercial matters across the contract life cycle.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience reviewing, negotiating and managing commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contractual terms, risk assessment and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and manage client and supplier contracts prior to commencement of works.
• Track and monitor contract progress through final approval using the CRM system.
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies and approval procedures.
• Communicate contractual obligations to Project Consultants and Management teams.
• Maintain accurate contract and supplier records.
• Prepare, review and finalise contractual documentation with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Explain contractual terms and risks clearly to internal and external parties.
• Liaise with legal advisors as required.
• Support resolution of contractual queries, disputes and complaints.
• Submit PQQs to support tender opportunities and maintain client supply chain status.
• Monitor PQQ renewals and supplier compliance requirements.
• Carry out contract reviews, audits and compliance checks.
