Meadow View Neurological Centre in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe and welcoming surroundings for residents, families and staff. You will perform cleaning duties across bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard, manage laundry and personal items with care, and report shortages to the manager.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or domestic experience is desirable.
• Basic understanding of infection control, health and safety and COSHH.
• Understanding of cleaning standards and hygiene practices.
• Reliable, organised and able to work to a high standard.
• Flexible and solutions-focused approach.
• Caring and respectful approach when working around residents.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe and welcoming surroundings for residents, families and colleagues.
• Carry out cleaning duties across the service to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Handle laundry and residents' personal items with care; report shortages to management.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and build positive relationships with residents.
• Contribute to a warm, homely and therapeutic environment supporting high quality care.
