Job summary

Lancashire Adult Learning, part of East Lancashire Learning Group, is recruiting a Community Teacher in Education & Early Years to deliver high-quality learning to adult learners across Lancashire, across multiple sites and venues.

This part-time, permanent role involves teaching face-to-face and live online sessions via Microsoft Teams, travelling between sites, tracking progress and contributing to curriculum development to raise learner achievement and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Successful experience of teaching on Education & Early Years pathways.
• Knowledge of educational needs of adults.
• Ability to deliver the curriculum successfully.
• Learner-centred approach to teaching and learning.
• Recent Early Years experience and passion for developing practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across Education and Early Years programmes, planning high-quality learning.
• Teach face-to-face and live online classes via Microsoft Teams with interactive learning.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement; provide tutorial and feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assurance activities, recruitment and progression.
• Maintain learner records and help achieve departmental learner success targets.
