Job summary

St James's in London seeks a Communications Assistant to support marketing and promotion of their activities, including public programmes and outreach. You will help monitor analytics for audience development and assist in producing online content, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer with a dotted line to the Wren Project Heritage Programme Manager.

Flexibility for some out-of-hours events is required.

Qualifications

Experience of marketing and communications, preferably in a heritage or arts environment.
Experience of producing online marketing and communications content.
Experience of using analytics to measure impact and support audience development.
Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with staff, volunteers and external stakeholders.
Experience of working well in teams and managing a varied workload.
Ability to prioritise and solve problems proactively.
Flexible and able to adapt in changing environments.
Experience of using Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop).

Responsibilities

Support marketing and promotion of St James's activities, including public programmes and outreach.
Monitor and analyse analytics to support audience development.
Support production and marketing of online content.
Promote the Wren Project both internally and externally.
Be prepared for additional duties and occasional out-of-hours events.
