Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collection and Network Driver in Dudley. This fixed-term 9-month contract requires 20 hours per week across Mon-Sun, 14:30–18:30, at the Dudley Delivery Office.

You will deliver and collect mail, check post-boxes, and visit business customers as part of a team delivering reliability and service. The role offers a guaranteed hourly rate of £16.24, 22.5 days holiday (pro rata), a contributory pension and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
• Think of yourself as a people-person.
• Happy walking for long periods and going outside in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and take pride in what you do.
• Looking for a role with flexible shift patterns.
• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail along your route.
• Check post-boxes and visit post offices as needed.
• Sort mail and ensure items reach processing centres on time.
