Job summary

McQueen's Dairies is seeking a part-time Stores person to join our Edinburgh depot. You will work in the cold stores area, managing stock, dispatch and receipts, while upholding safety standards. Training is provided to support accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.

The role requires reliability, basic numeracy and literacy, and the ability to work to set timescales, either alone or as part of a team. A supportive environment and opportunities for progression are offered.

Responsibilities

• Work in the cold stores department (refrigerator) and maintain stock levels.
• Conduct physical dispatch, receipt and internal movement of stock.
• Ensure safe and efficient warehouse and yard housekeeping.
• Receive goods and perform visual inspection.
• Support health and safety and stock control practices.
• Participate in Stores improvement activities.

Part-time Cold Stores Person / Warehouse Person
Permanent Contract | £14.72 per hour | Weekly Pay
Location: Edinburgh, Loanhead

Shift Pattern:

• Backshift: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Times: 18:00 - 22:30 (incl. 30 minutes unpaid break)
• Weekly Pay
• Hours per week: 18 | 4 Backshifts a week
• Days off: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Full Training Provided

We are currently recruiting for a Stores person to join the team at our Edinburgh depot.

The role:

• You will be working within our cold stores department (refrigerator)
• Maintain accurate stock levels
• Maintain good housekeeping within the warehouse and yard area
• Physical dispatch, receipt and internal movement of stock in a safe and efficient manner
• Receiving goods and visual inspection
• Focus on upholding work standards
• Focus and knowledge of health and safety
• Stock control
• Participate in improvement activities within the Stores

Required experience:
