Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist for a part-time role. You will programme, set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision prototype components. The role involves working closely with mechanical and R&D engineers on one-off and low-volume parts.

The position is initially 2 days a week, with a pro-rata salary (£35,000–£45,000) plus benefits. Suitable candidates will have strong GD&T knowledge and CAD/CAM experience and be able to commute to

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of drawings and GD&T.
• CAD/CAM or prototype experience advantageous.
• Looking for a part-time role and commutable to Long Eaton.

Responsibilities

• CNC programming, setting and operating to produce precision prototype components.
• Manufacture high-quality prototype components via CNC milling.
• Collaborate with mechanical and R&D engineers to support rapid development of new products.
• Provide manufacturing feedback throughout the prototyping process.
