Job summary

MID Essex SET CAMHS is recruiting a part-time (0.6wte) Band 8a clinical role in Chelmsford to provide clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary CAMHS team. The post focuses on specialist assessment and interventions for children and young people with complex mental health needs, within an iThrive-informed MDT.

You will contribute to reflective practice, clinical supervision, and service development while supporting staff wellbeing and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Registered psychologist/psychological therapist with appropriate professional training.
• Experience in CAMHS or child/adolescent mental health settings preferred.
• Strong leadership and multidisciplinary team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions for children and young people.
• Lead and support the multidisciplinary team in line with iThrive principles.
• Offer clinical supervision and contribute to service development and CPD.
• Support staff wellbeing and maintain high standards of care.
