Job summary

BK Plus is seeking an experienced Client Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, offering 20-25 hours per week across five days to fit around school commitments. The role focuses on delivering high-quality client service within a professional accounting practice.

You will manage a portfolio of 40–50 clients, prepare statutory accounts, VAT and tax returns, and build strong client relationships. Experience in practice and familiarity with software such as Xero or similar tools are

• Experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients independently.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to prioritise work and manage deadlines effectively.
• A proactive and organised approach.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of 40–50 clients across a range of sectors.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies & sole traders.
• Preparing and submitting VAT Returns.
• Preparing Corporation Tax returns.
• Preparing Personal Tax returns.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Responding to client queries and providing ongoing support and advice.
• Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc client and practice matters as required.
