Job summary

Concept Resources are recruiting a Part-Time Cleaner to provide holiday cover at a government office in Elgin. This short-term temporary role suits someone with prior commercial cleaning experience who is available for evening shifts.

You will work independently to complete all cleaning duties, follow site health and safety procedures, and use the mandatory clocking-in system as well as any security procedures including key holding and alarm operation as required.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience.
• BPSS clearance required.
• Right to Work documentation at induction.
• Comfortable working alone.
• Willingness to act as key holder and operate alarm system if required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, communal areas, corridors and washrooms.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Dusting and sanitising desks, surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing washroom supplies.

• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed within the allocated shift.

Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• BPSS Clearance Required: Candidates must be willing and able to complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening.
• Must provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction.
• Must be comfortable working alone.
• Willingness to act as a key holder and operate an alarm system if required.
• Ability to use a telephone-based attendance system.
• Reliable, punctual and available for the required shifts.
