Job summary

Compass Group UK&I ESS is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our defence, government and energy services team. The role is contracted to 30 hours per week across morning shifts, with a 50.2-week per year pattern and a focus on maintaining hygienic, safe environments for clients and customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisation, a hands-on work ethic and flexibility to cover early morning shifts; prior cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to working and ability to adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste; monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
• Mop up spillages quickly and efficiently as needed.
