Job summary

Concept Resources is currently recruiting a reliable and experienced part-time cleaner to work at a government office in Cheltenham. The role offers long-term temporary work with consistent afternoon shifts across three days per week.

Applicants should have previous commercial cleaning experience and be comfortable working independently. BPSS clearance is required, and you must provide Right to Work documents at induction.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• BPSS Clearance Required: Candidates must be willing and able to complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening.
• Must provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction.
• Must be comfortable working alone.
• Willingness to act as a key holder and operate an alarm system if required.
• Ability to use a telephone-based attendance system.

Responsibilities

• Working independently and completing all allocated cleaning duties.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
• Using the mandatory telephone clocking-in and clocking-out system.
• Following site security procedures, including key holding and alarm operation where required.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed within the allocated shift.
• Cleaning offices, communal areas, corridors and washrooms.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Dusting and sanitising desks, surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing washroom supplies.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
