Job summary

Hollybank Trust in Mirfield is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to join our Outstanding School on a part-time basis (2.5–3 days per week) during term time. You will deliver the personalised curriculum, assess needs, and support learners with profound and multiple disabilities to reach independence and develop communication and social skills.

The role requires Qualified Teacher Status and at least 2 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and at least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Part-time, term-time role (2.5–3 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Identify needs, assess ability, and plan sessions meeting children's requirements.
• Deliver personalised curriculum to meet individual needs and support team members.
• Support children to develop independence, participation, and communication skills.
• Design and manage a varied curriculum within available resources, aligned to school ethos and mission.
• Ensure high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children with disabilities.
