Job summary

Ministry of Justice in Rugby is recruiting a part-time Christian Chaplain (Anglican or Free Church) to provide faith and belief support to prisoners and staff. You will act as a faith adviser, facilitate worship and study, and contribute to local policies and chaplaincy practices.

The role requires ordination or equivalent status and DBS clearance, with visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants. Salary is pro-rata from £37,417 to £39,214, based on 17 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be an ordained member of the Anglican Communion (or Porvoo Agreement churches) or a Reader, Religious Brother/Sister, Church Army Evangelist, or equivalent, with specific licensing/endorsement.
