Job summary

British Garden Centres is seeking a skilled Chef for Woodthorpe Hall Garden Centre. The role is part-time with 24 hours weekly, shifts between 08:30 and 18:00, including weekends, in a busy kitchen environment.

You will be responsible for food preparation, delivering tasty dishes to a high standard, and managing portions and waste. Experience in carvery and HACCP is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a busy kitchen.
• Creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs.
• Experience of cooking carvery is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
• Able to manage multiple orders.
• Professionalism and reliability.
• Remain calm under pressure.
• Good time management.
• Level 2 basic food hygiene is an advantage.
