Job summary

British Garden Centres is seeking a skilled Chef for our Leyland kitchen in a part-time role. You will prepare and serve carvery dishes and other menu items, ensuring timely delivery for customers. The position requires availability on weekends and a total of 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy kitchen.
• Carvery cooking experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
• Level 2 basic food hygiene is an advantage.
• Able to manage multiple orders.
• Remain calm under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Professionalism and reliability.
• Flexible with weekends and able to do overtime.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving on the carvery

• Prepare, cook, and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standard.
