Bosworth Independent School in Northampton is seeking a part-time Chef to lead day-to-day catering for students, staff and visitors, delivering high-volume meals with quality and value while maintaining health and safety standards.
You will manage Catering Assistants, plan menus in line with government guidelines, and ensure HACCP and SFBB procedures are followed, with a focus on nutritious, balanced options for a diverse student body.
Bosworth Independent School is a relatively small school of approximately 300 students. Part-time (17 Hours over 2 days, with Weekend Working)
This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work as a key member of the Operations department at Bosworth Independent School. We take great pride in delivering a first-class experience at Bosworth Independent School. The role of Chef will play a crucial part in the delivery of catering that is central to our ethos. As a chef, you will be at the forefront of delivering a high-quality catering offer to our students, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the catering provision in the kitchen, which includes production of our meals, along with the support of Catering Assistants. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership qualities and have experience in operating a busy kitchen. You will understand the importance exceptionally high standards and, regarding health and safety, ensure our 5-star rating is maintained by the Environmental Health Organisation.
