Job summary

The University Chaplaincy at Loughborough University is seeking a part-time Chaplaincy Administrator for a maternity cover. The role is 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE) with a Grade 4 salary (£25249 - £28778 pro rata per annum).

Start date around December 2026, with closing and interview dates provided in the job info. The successful candidate will support wellbeing services for students, staff and alumni, working within a multi-faith team and providing a reliable first point of contact.

Responsibilities

• In this part time role, you will be at the heart of a professional service that is dedicated to serving the wellbeing of in the university community.
• You will be the first point of contact for the Chaplaincy and must be confident meeting with and responding to the needs of a wide range of students and staff, some of whom may be going through difficult times.
• You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, including IT skills.
• You will be able to work and plan independently but be equally happy working within a team, meeting deadlines and attending to details.
