MioCare, a not-for-profit care and support provider wholly owned by Oldham Council, is seeking an experienced Chair to lead governance as it enters its next phase of development in Oldham.

You will be the principal link between the Board, Managing Director and Shareholder Steering committee, shaping strategic direction, overseeing performance and ensuring quality, financial sustainability and risk management remain at the heart of decisions.

• Extensive governance and board leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of finance, performance and risk.
• Ability to challenge and support senior leaders and hold them to account.

Responsabilidades

• Lead an effective and engaged MioCare Board and provide governance oversight.
• Support, challenge and hold the Managing Director to account.
• Shape strategic direction and oversee organisational performance.
• Ensure quality, financial sustainability and risk management are central.
• Strengthen MioCare’s contribution to the wider health and care system.
• Act as guardian of MioCare’s purpose and values.
