Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering and service operations for a major High Street brand, contracted to 16 hours per week.

You will lead kitchens and service counters, ensuring exceptional food and customer service, and train teams while upholding health and safety standards. Represent the Compass brand across our extensive network of venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a catering environment.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and service.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams to excel in their roles.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all teams.
