Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at Salisbury District Hospital. You will deliver and collect food trolleys, serve meals to patients, staff and visitors, and assist with basic food preparation. The role requires flexibly covering shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene knowledge or ability to achieve.
• Customer service experience in retail, catering, hospitality or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, face to face and on the telephone.
• Basic computer keyboard skills.

• Deliver and collect food trolleys to ward areas.
• Serve meals to patients, staff and visitors.
