Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Catering Assistant to support daily food preparation, serve meals and beverages, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a busy catering setting.

The role is part-time (11 hours per week, Tue and Thu 10:00–15:30) with a pro rata salary of £25,971–£26,991. Benefits include 27 days annual leave, 6 public holidays, flexible working, and LearnNL development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment is desirable.
• Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and reliability are essential.
