Job description

We have openings for experienced catering assistants to join Morrisons Head Office as part of our Facilities team.

These are part-time opportunities, initially fixed-term for 6 months with the view to go permanent.

We are open to hearing from individuals who can work 20/30 hours a week covering mornings, afternoons, and weekends, as our busy head office is open 6 days a week.

Your rate of pay will be £12.21 per hour.

Our Catering team is dedicated to providing swift and friendly service for our colleagues within this large head office, while maintaining a clean and presentable environment in a modern office setting.

You’ll represent Morrisons in all activities, with our ways of working at the heart of everything you do. We offer a friendly and rewarding work environment, but you’ll be kept busy. It’s important that you are comfortable with a fast pace, without compromising customer service and standards.

Full training on our ways of working and uniform will be provided, along with all the benefits you would expect from an award-winning supermarket.

• Catering experience, ideally within a fast-paced, volume environment

• Confidence in food preparation, food service, and customer service

• Knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety, Food safety, dietary requirements, including allergens

• A team player with a positive attitude, happy to work on own initiative

• Excellent communication skills

• Organized, with a sense of urgency when needed

• Comfortable working at pace without compromising quality

• Keen to learn new skills and improve existing ones

• Excellent organizational skills

• Comfortable using till systems (training provided)

• Flexible to support various shifts and additional/change shifts as required
